Memo No. B. 13016/48/2016-SWD Dated 20th October, 2016: In Supercession of this Department's Notification No. B. 13016/2/96-SWD dated 16.12.1996 and in exercise of the powers conferred under section 50 of the Persons with Disabilities (Equal Opportunity, Protection of Rights and Full Participation) Act, 1995 (No. 1 of 1996), the Governor of Mizoram is pleased to appoint the Commissioner for Persons with Disabilities, Mizoram as competent authority for issue of certificate of registration in respect of institution for the PwDs with immediate effect and until further orders.

Every application for a certificate of registration shall be made in Form - IV {PwD Rules, 1999 Chapter - VI (41)}
